On June 27, the “Spitak Helsinki Group” human rights NGO carried out a presentation of the research report within the framework of the project “Healthy Body in an Informed mind”.

Representatives of Spitak medical institutions, representatives of non-governmental organizations and citizens participated in the presentation.

Project Manager Arevik Petrosyan presented the project’s goals, objectives, results, and steps towards solving problems.

The project sociologist Melineh Gharakeshishyan presented the results of the research, revealed the problems.

The Director of  Spitak Medical Center presented his opinion about revealed issues.

Citizens raised their questions, expanded discussions on certain issues.

At the end of the presentation, the “Spitak Helsinki Group” human rights NGO awarded certificates of appreciation  to those who supported the project.

The goal of the project is to improve health care in Spitak.

Project objectives:

  1. Carry out a sociological survey to identify the current situation in the health care facilities.
  2. Carry out appropriate actions to address the identified issues.
